Take a moment to think of all the things that you can do to improve your quality of life. 

Most people naturally think the thing that would improve their life is more money, but we all know there are very wealthy people who are miserable, depressed, sad, lonely. 

So money in itself is not the key. 

People will also try things like drinking alcohol, going on vacations, hobbies, massages, spas, relaxation or entertainment. 

While most of these things can be efficient at helping you feel good, they’re only a very short term shift and don’t necessarily change your life

For example, if you’re in a job that you don’t like or your relationship is not working or your health is challenged, and you try and do something like go to a movie for entertainment or go shopping and buy something nice to feel good, if it does work as a nice distraction, you might feel good for a short amount of time. But it doesn’t last and you go back to the same old state of being. 

Exercise, too, can be a wonderful thing that changes people’s mood and state, but I have worked with many people who are fit, go to the gym regularly, and their quality of life is still struggling and mental health not so good. 


Most people’s quality of life is almost set on a thermostat. 

There’s an average way that you feel. 

Just like a thermostat, if the room gets too cold, it heats up - or if the room gets to hot it cools down.  

So you might do these things and temporarily feel better, only to go back to a certain state. 


Essentially, your quality of life is determined by a few factors - mainly, your energy state. 

And while things like yoga and meditation and a healthy diet are all really important, they all often take a lot of time to slowly adjust that thermostat energy level in your life so you feel better. (Although well worth the effort). 

I’ve worked with many people who have meditated and done yoga for years and years and are still stuck experiencing life the same way. 


So, if none of these things that most people do to improve their quality of life really work that well, what can we do to increase our energy state?

It’s a combination of becoming aware of where your energy gets lost, where it leaks. 

For so many people, this can be life stresses, their body trapped in old trauma patterns, or an anxious mind is known to waste so much energy. 

These are some of the quick and most important fixes. 


If your body is stuck in old patterns, this tension is mainly locked in your body and spine. It’s also important to free this. When the body is clear and the mind is clear, now, all of a sudden when you do the things to improve your quality of life - like meditation or healthy eating or going on a holiday - because you’ve already got more energy in your system, the effects are amplified. 


There are easy ways to increase your life quality and improve the way you feel.  

The most important first step is to become aware of what’s causing you to be stuck.
